International cooperation of the Air Transportation Management Department is aimed at the development, search and creation of new opportunities for the scientific growth of scientific and pedagogical staff and students, raising internal scientific and educational standards, promoting the spread of a positive image of Ukraine and Ukrainian science and education abroad. For the establishment of international cooperation, the department has for decades created and continues to actively develop a network of contacts with foreign universities and specialists in various branches of aviation transport and logistics.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In 1999, Yun G.M. the head of the department, as part of the NAU delegation, visited the Dresden Technical University to discuss the project under the Tempus program of the European Union. The discussion was attended by Professor Udartsev E.P., Professor Yun G.M., Professor Kulik M.S. and Professor Krause of the Technical University of Dresden.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t

In 2004, a delegation from NAU headed by G.M. In 2010, a delegation from NAU headed by G.M. Yun visited the Korea Aerospace University (KAU) at the invitation of the president of the university, Professor Yu Jank. As a result, an agreement was reached on the practical implementation of one of the provisions of the \u201cLetter of intent\u201d – to promote the development of human resources in the aerospace industry.<\/p>\n

In 2011, the first trip of students of the English-language project of the specialty \u201cOrganization of transportation and management of transport (air)\u201d took place within the framework of a bilateral agreement on cooperation with the Faculty of Aviation Transport and Logistics of KAU. The purpose of the exchange was to participate in the work of the International Summer Program at KAU. The program was supposed to listen to two courses of lectures, which were conducted by professors from the USA, South Korea and Ukraine. From Ukraine lectures were prepared by Ph.D., Associate Professor of the ATM Department V.A. For several years now, the Air Transportation Management Department has provided an opportunity for students studying in the direction of training \u201cTransport technologies (air transportation)\u201d to obtain additional knowledge in their specialty at the Korean Aerospace University (Seoul, South Korea). The program is highly popular with the international student community.<\/p>\n

More than sixty students from sixteen countries come to gain academic knowledge and experience in aviation. The study lasts a month and includes not only lectures but also practical classes. Program participants have a unique opportunity to visit Incheon International Airport, the headquarters of South Korean Airlines and the cargo complex.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Upon completion of the program, students of the ATM Department Svetlana Zyukina, Alina Ksyondzik, Anastasia Sokolovskaya and Julia Tarasenko successfully passed the exams and received diplomas and certificates of completion of training at the International Summer School of the Korean Aerospace University.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n

On May 27, 2013, on the basis of the ATM Department, an awarding ceremony was held for students who took part in the 16th conference of young scientists \u201cScience is the future of Lithuania\u201d<\/strong> under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Air Transportation Management Department V.Yu.Ivannikova<\/p>\n

The conference took place on May 6-8, 2013 at the VGTU Vilnius Technical University named after Gediminas (Vilnius, Lithuania). The conference was attended by lecturers, postgraduates and students from Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. The Institute of Economics and Management was represented by students and teachers of the Air Transportation Management Department.<\/p>\n

The topics of the reports were devoted to transport policy, theoretical foundations of transport systems, technologies of passenger and cargo transportation, technologies of loading and unloading works, information technologies in the field of transport, management and economics of transport. Students of the Air Transportation Management Department were awarded diplomas, namely:<\/p>\n

In September 2015, a series of guest lectures by Professor Aidan Runa, a leading aviation specialist at the Dublin Institute (Institute of Technology), took place at the National Aviation University on the basis of the Air Transportation Management Department.<\/p>\n

The visit of Aidan Rooney was organized by the Deputy Head of the ATM Department for International Cooperation, PhD of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the ATM Department V.Yu.Ivannikova, who met Aidan during an internship in Ireland, at the Dublin Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Professor Aidan Rooney was at the department as part of the Erasmus Mundus ACTIVE international academic exchange program funded by the European Commission. The lectures covered a wide range of issues related to aircraft maintenance, operations at airports and airlines, the human factor in aviation.<\/p>\n

Following the visit of Professor Aidan Rooney, an agreement was reached on further cooperation between the National Aviation University and the Dublin Institute of Technology in the field of aviation transport technology.<\/p>\n

Many graduates of the ATM Department work as foreign representatives of airlines in Amsterdam, Rome, Athens, Tokyo, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, New York, Beijing, Milan and others.<\/p>\n

The main directions of international cooperation of the department:<\/p>\n

– participation of students, graduate students, scientists and scientific-pedagogical workers in international conferences, symposia, round tables;<\/p>\n

– publications of scientific and pedagogical workers in international scientific journals included in the scientometric databases SCOPUS, Web of Science, Google Scholar, etc .;<\/p>\n

– holding international conferences with the involvement of foreign specialists in the field of transport technologies in the organization and participation;<\/p>\n

– implementation of joint publishing activities with foreign publishing houses, scientific and educational institutions and the exchange of scientific printed products;<\/p>\n

– submission of documents for participation in the Erasmus + international academic mobility program together with the European partner Dublin Institute of Technology (Republic of Ireland) in order to receive a grant for educational mobility between the Department of Air Transportation Management and the Department of Transport Engineering at Dublin Institute of Technology;<\/p>\n

– conclusion of bilateral and multilateral agreements on cooperation with higher educational institutions and research institutions of foreign countries;<\/p>\n

In 2019, Sc.D., professor of the ATM Department Goncharenko Andriy Viktorovych took part in the international scientific congress “The 2nd Aviation and Space Congress”<\/strong> held at Kielce University of Technology<\/strong> and Rzeszow University of Technology<\/strong>, which took place in Tsedzina, Poland.<\/p>\n
