Studying in English allows you to:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

– fluently master the English language of special aviation terminology;<\/em><\/p>\n

– find a prestigious and highly paid job in an international company;<\/em><\/p>\n

– to receive, together with a university diploma, a special certificate of completion of a full course of study in English;<\/em><\/p>\n

– take part in international scientific and technical symposia, conferences, seminars, competitions, academic mobility programs;<\/em><\/p>\n

– communicate and collaborate with scientists from around the world;<\/em><\/p>\n

– continue training or find a job in any country in the world.<\/em><\/p>\n

Since 2008, the Air Transportation Management Department has been training bachelors and masters in specialty 275 \u201cTransport technologies (air transportation)\u201d in<\/strong> English<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Students of English-language groups after graduation in addition to the diploma of education receive a certificate of completion of a full course of bachelor’s and master’s programs in English, which allows you to get a prestigious well pay job in international companies.<\/p>\n

The teachers of the English-speaking groups are highly qualified, constantly improve their level of English proficiency and have experience of working in international companies and educational institutions in other countries.<\/p>\n

Students of English-speaking groups study English according to an in-depth program, taking into account the specifics of their language training and the need to study an additional array of terminology in general education subjects.<\/p>\n

In the modern world, integration processes in the field of air transport are becoming more widespread. For successful work and exchange of information, specialists in the aviation industry must, first of all, find a common language in the truest sense of the word. In recent decades, the role of such a common language has been played by English. It is recognized as one of the five official languages of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the language of radio communications for aircraft flying on international airlines. There is a stereotype that you can quickly and efficiently learn English – just attend some of the newest and very expensive intensive courses. However, as evidenced by modern psychological and didactic research, this is a myth. You can only master the language while constantly being in the language environment, for example, by studying in English.<\/p>\n

That is why, with the aim of high-quality training of aviation industry specialists who are able to withstand any competition in the labor market, in 2008, for the first time in Ukraine, a group with English language of instruction in the specialty \u201cTransport technologies (on air transportation)\u201d was opened at the Air transportation management department, and in 2013, the first graduation of masters of the English-speaking group, consisting of 10 students, has already been completed.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

During the functioning of the system of English-language education from year to year at the department there is a tendency to an increase in the number of students studying in English. This is quite natural, because fluency in English significantly increases the opportunities for a specialist in the aviation industry in the domestic and world labor markets.<\/p>\n

Graduates of English-speaking groups successfully work in the largest Ukrainian and foreign airlines and airports, air transportation sales agencies, freight forwarding and travel companies. Many graduates work as foreign representatives of Ukrainian and international airlines in Amsterdam, Rome, Athens, Tokyo, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, New York, Beijing, Milan and others.<\/p>\n

Students of English-speaking groups study in a separate stream, listen to lectures, work in practical and laboratory classes and communicate with teachers exclusively in English.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n

The formation and development of teaching in English was facilitated by many years of experience in teaching of foreign students at the department, because even in Soviet times, the university (then the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers) established itself as a leading educational institution of the world level.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
